We are pleased to invite you to participate in our quantum computing hackathon! A hackathon (hack+marathon) is a event in which the participants try to solve challenges in programming. This hackathon is designed for the participants of the Minicourse on Quantum Computing taught in the workshop’s mornings and students with basic background on quantum computing (based on circuits).
The objective of this challenge is to encourage the participants to start programming on quantum computers. It is possible to access some of IBM’s prototype quantum computers via cloud at the website https://quantum-computing.ibm.com/. Participants are encouraged to sign up to IBM’s platform in order to simulate and run quantum programs during the hackathon. The teams can be composed of 3 (three) members and can be set up in the day of the competition. There are 11 (eleven) slots available for teams in the hackathon, and the registration will occur during the workshop.
